International Ambassador Singer-Songwriter Kohei announces Tour dates

Performing in front of crowds of over 30,000 attendees world wide and winning major competitions such as Amateur Night at The Apollo, R&B Singer Kohei, is partnering with fellow artist, Tia, as they embark on a 20 city tour this spring. Born in Toyko, Japan and now residing in Harlem, NY, Kohei has made a name for himself, earning him some of the most greatest awards and life time experiences. In 2017, Kohei was commanded the International Ambassador singer by the United Nations and also had the opportunity to perform at the National Night Out Against Crime in 2015, 2016, 2017 where he performed for Mayor El DeBlasio of New York City in hopes of contributing to the community and bridging a gap between American and Japanese culture through the power of music. The National Night Out Against Crime is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts, a movement in which Kohei is dedicated to and passionate about. In addition to performing at this event and performing at the Apollo 8 times, Kohei has joined many non profit organizations and has performed at several Aid’s Benefit Concerts around the United States Of America to raise awareness to this cause.

With his contributions to the community around and life experiences influencing his daily life, Kohei is in the works of releasing a new single entitled "Power To The People", that will reflect his many artistic influences such as Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. His Spring-Summer tour will include various stops such as Minneapolis, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta as well as a pit stop performance at the McDonald's Gospel Festival in Newark, New Jersey. Between his high energy, powerful vocals and edgy performances, Kohei is an artist who stands within the spotlight and grabs ahold of the fame with open arms and blissful sounds.
