MiKE ForD - 1992ThaEP (E.P)

Bronx native MiKE ForD brings back the 90’s in his latest release “1992ThaEP.” Staying true to the title, ForD delivers that heavy aggression, clear delivery and witty word play which NYC Mc’s are known for. While the project is indeed a filler to keep fans satisfied until he finishes his album, it should still be glanced upon with the same regard as a full project. ForD demonstrates his diversity in a short amount of time. Songs like Gun Hill and 2Line Funk would of been blaring out of car windows, or blasting out of a boombox on your stoop while the kids broke the fire hydrant to escape summer heat. Then he gives you tracks like 1992 and Keep It Real to help you cope with the environment you’re growing up in, and let you know you’re not alone. Due to the songs being one verse with no hooks, it leaves you a bit unsatisfied. For this being his first project in 3 years ForD shows he’s stepped up and is ready to showcase all his talents.
